ravenigma
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I've spent the last half hour looking and couldn't find the answer I need. I'm somewhat new to modding and still need some help, so... I use OBMM to install mods. If I have a mod installed and a fix for that mod comes out that includes along with the data files an esp with the same name as the original mod esp, do I overwrite the old esp, or try to incorporate the new new data files into the original OMOD, or what? I'm sure this is a simple answer and I do appreciate anyone taking the time to answer me. Thank you.
TrueOrigin
With Zip mods, usually an overwrite will work. With Omods you usually have to delete the original before updating. It really depends on the mod itself, in fact most of the professional/high-grade mods will come with instructions for updating.
