monster10777
Every time I play I get a CTD after about 30 mins. Not sure why and what would be causing it, and don't really want to go through every mod to find the cause. I reinstalled some mods to fix missing textures and meshes, but it still happens. Also going to note that if it's 'time' for the ctd and i'm in a loading screen, the loading screen will just freeze, and I have to close it manually. Also going to note that I have installed the Large version of NMC's Texture Pack System:Intel i5-2500k Nvidia GTX 5708GB Ripjaws RAMGigabyte P67 Mobo My load order is as follows: FalloutNV.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmLonesomeRoad.esmOldWorldBlues.esmNSkies URWLified.esmWARZONES - Misanthropy Pure.esmAWorldOfPain(Preview).esmCaravanPack.esmClassicPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmTribalPack.esmMore Perks.esmMore Traits.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmProject Nevada - Equipment.esmMoMod.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmCASM.espEVE FNV.espMore Perks Update.espMore Traits Update.espNewVegasBounties.espNewVegasBountiesII.espSignatureWeapons.espUHNV.espNSkies URWLifiedDM.espNSkies URWLifiedHH.espNSkies URWLifiedOWB.espMoMod-Aliens.espAWOP-MoMod.espProject Nevada - Cyberware.espProject Nevada - Rebalance.esp Total active plugins: 33Total plugins:
n0t0ryczny
First off, get the Fallout Configator and set your preload limit to some obscenely high value, like 1 gb. If you still haven't tweaked .ini files, preload limit is something like 250mb (preload is an amount of memory dedicated to store game objects, like AI packages, textures, meshes etc.). And since you have a large texture pack... Secondly, MoMod is somewhat glitchy and crashy,
monster10777
Thanks, I tried that, but still get the CTD...Not really sure what it could be.
n0t0ryczny
Defragment your HDD. If you have more than one HDD set virtual memory file to another physical drive. Do you use fallout 4 gb enabler? Or sthg similar? Missing meshes and textures have nothing to do with it, you just would get red exclamation mark boxes, untextured objects or just plain invisible ones. Do CTDs happen more often when there are many creatures around? Especially in combat? Or on fast travel/going from one worldspace to another (wasteland->freeside, freeside->strip, big mt->mojave)? Do you use a merged patch or bashed patch?
monster10777
I defragged, still occurs.Using the 4GB enabler now, still occurs but not as often it seems like.It usually happens just randomly. I will either straight up CTD or if i and at a loading scree, it will freeze and i have to close manually. Not running and merged or bashed patch
mooncarver
I strongly recommend using a bashed patch. complex mods such as project nevada and eve need this. just run boss, build the bashed patch and check everything it might throw at you. if all else fails, deactivate nskies and try again.
