k3s73n
Mkay, here's one for ya. I've got Lenovo Idepad y570 aand guess what, I'm trying to play New Vegas - to no avail. The game crashes every time I press "New Game". I see 1-2, if I'm lucky 3 seconds of the intro cinematic and then BAM CTD. So I move the intro to another folder, the game starts to load immediately, no cinematic, no nothing. Guess what? CTD! A couple of times I was extremely lucky and after screwing around with the Nvidia Optimus settings I managed to get like 5 minutes (max) of gameplay(I exited the doctor's house to a town Goodsprings or something). After searching through the netz for solutions, I found that most of the Optimus users had a problem with Fallout recognizing their dedicated card. I, however, don't have the same problem, the launcher clearly shows Nvidia GT555 as the current GPU and in the few minutes I managed to squeeze out of the game, it played perfectly with AA, filtrations and on high settings. Just in case I tried the DLL fix files, the 1st one starts ok, but still crashes. The second one goes into black screen, I hear the main menu music, when I move the mouse I hear it passing over the buttons and such. I blindly clicked my way to a new game - CTD. I've updated both Nvidia and integrated Intel drivers, played around with processor count - nothing. The game is with the latest update, game cache verified, etc. Any help is appreciated :>
