Achronos
I have a few questions about some console commands:1) How do you find a user-created item/npc's ID? I've heard some people saying how they just use console commands to get a custom object like sauron's armor.2) Is there a command to change an NPC's appearance? I've heard some people saying how they just use console commands to get a custom object like sauron's armor.2) Is there a command to change an NPC's appearance?1. Search for it... I know I've explained the process a few times lately. Hint, hint. It however isn't always practical, or easy to do so (since you need to find a static from the same mod to get the first two numbers of the form ID). The better solution is to open the mod containing the items you want in the CS, and either place them in world somewhere you can pick them up, or make a simple quest (script) to give you those items. 2. No, there is no command to change how any NPC looks. Any changes made to NPCs have to be done in the CS, and usually don't end up working well due to all the things involved. (face textures being obtained from outside the CS, voices becoming unlinked if you change gender or race, new items not being seen because te npc was already loaded in that game, NPC's skills and attributes unchanged since that NPC was already loaded in that game. Vagrant0
you can also go into cs and the character named player, then drag and drop the itemExcept that doing so only affects new games, not those currently in progress. If you were going to use the CS, it's always better to just drop the item in the world somewhere near your saved game.
