Rosadhi
I'm trying to make an NPC merchant who's a vampire. I've figured most of it out by looking at other vampire NPCs, but there's one thing I can't figure out - how do I assign a vampire face to an NPC? cmac
It has to do with the faction they are in, and the script attached to them -- i.e., "vampire_%VAMPIRECLANHERE"
Stormscape
what about the vampire NPCS that don't have scripts? and aren't in a faction?

cmac
oh yeah? let me quickly look one up...Ok... Marara- MararaScript Raxle Berne- BerneVampire Dhaunayne Aundae- Vampire_Aundae Shall I continue? EDIT: The dead hero in Dagoth Ur is DEAD. The whites of his eyes are rotted away. Look on all the dead corpses- they're all like that. EDIT 2: Same deal. When corpses are assigned 0 health, they have the rotted eye whites. Same thing on the dead Redguard in Berandas with the Apostle's Boots, and the other dead bodies in the game.
Stormscape
ah yes, but then why do the vampires in the game have the EXACT same looking eyes?
kadude
The drain blood spell should have been more realistic !An animation that lets you see that you bite the guy/gal...Just like in "Vampire: The Masquerade" ! I'm sure Bethesda used a whole lot of time making this game, but he sure could put more animations to the PCs !
Stormscape
they didn't because the engine for Morrowind isn't that good to have that, otherwise it would count as melee.
cmac
ah yes, but then why do the vampires in the game have the EXACT same looking eyes? Becasue vampires are dead, or Undead, to be exact. As are the bodies (dead.)
