Download problem

Hey guys,

New to this site having only registered this morning, it's similar in layout to some other forums I use and so far so good. However, when on the files section and on a file page, the download button doesn't seem to be working. If I click it, it will scroll the screen upwards and I'm met with no response however long I wait. Currently, I'm running on Firefox which is up to date with the updates. Hopefuly, you guys can help with my dilemma. Cheers!

Hi and welcome to the nexus :)

Now, lets see if I get this right, when you go to a file and want to download it, you click on the green button "download"? And then you just wait?

 

Then that is the problem, the green "download" button only changes the section below to change the different files instead of the description. So after clicking this green "download" button, you will also have to click once more on the main file that should be shown below on that page (sometimes a mod author uploads some optional files that you might to download afterwards, and as such you get the chance to see them all before deciding ectly what parts you want downloaded). Then you just choose a server, and wait while it downloads.

Oh my god, I can't believe I've made such a noobish move :wallbash:

I'm Used to sites having the files listed on other servers ie. hosts

Everyone has to be a noob some time, and I am pretty certain, though most won't admit it, that almost all of us have made simple mistakes like that at some point :)

um, I actually do have this sort of a problem; whenever I hit the download button -or- the file section of any given mod page, it doesnt change from the description page. In fact, I cant access ANY of the other sections, pics, comments, anything. Every mod I go to, I'm stuck on the description . . . any thoughts
