Nebbis
Hi, I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if it's the right place to post this but I think so. So, I started playing around with G.E.C.K and did some slight edits to a replacement mod for Veronica I downloaded. This was just to test how generally you edit the faces of the NPC's and stuff.http://i2.aijaa.com/b/00789/8802157.pngThis is how it's shown in GECK, everything is fine.http://i6.aijaa.com/b/00607/8802158.pngBut when I open FOMM, the file is nowhere to be found, and when I check the Fallout New Vegas/Data folder, the .esp file is not there either, but it still shows up in GECK. So yeah I'd appreciate if someone would help me
Sunnie
It sounds like you have 2 different installs (in 2 different places). Make sure that you are running GECK from your NV folder in the Steam path, and not from some "other" install. Also, your load order is whacked. FalloutNV.esm "must" be at the top, and the big DLC files need to be next in the order of release.

Think they got scrambled a bit, didn't even notice till you mentioned :P but yeah, I don't have two installs.
Nebbis
Alright, after some thinking, I realized you can't add anything to the Data folder without adminstrator privilegies, so I ran GECK as an admin and remade the mod and it worked. Sunnie
I suppose you have Steam installed in the default "Program Files (x86)" folder? Moving it out of that system protected folder would have prevented the admin rights issue from happening.
