SrJulie
I am working on a bar. Among the patrons are some ghouls. I have gave the ghouls a travel package that sat them in the chair. However, when I add the "use specific idle" option the ghoul does not complete the idle selected (drinking while in a chair in this case). I have the ghoul set so he will use the ai data. I have set the travel package to "must complete". However I can't seem to make the ghoul do the idle. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
llamaRCA
If the chair has idles on it, those idles will override the idles you are trying to put onto the NPC and he won't do what you are trying to get him to do; this also means if you put him onto a chair with no idles that he won't do an eating or drinking idle even if you give him one. So, if you are making a new physical space the best thing to do would be to give him a piece of furniture that has the eating and drinking idle on it and then give him two packages. One that travels him to the chair location and then give him a second package that changes to an eat package and have him eat whatever it is you want him to be drinking. It's easier to make NPCs do things if you use the idles that are already built in to markers and just move them to the markers. Edit: Also, there is a limited number of drinking objects available for the eating packages. The beer bottle and the nuka cola bottle are the two that you will get most of the time. I know that the whiskey bottle and cup are the other two, but I can't remember if you can get them when you choose liquids to drink sitting down. You can definitely choose whiskey standing and I don't know how you get the cup; it may only show up as part of a meal. But, anyway the beer bottle will default for alcoholic bevs (unless you can get the whiskey bottle for whiskey sitting down) and nuka cola for non alcoholic beverages.
