Remove Permanent Effect Mod

I have a real irritating glitch which I hope some genius modder will be able to correct.

I did a quest where I had to obtain a ring called the Ring of Desiccation. I delivered the ring to the NPC and because it had cool effects, stole it back. For some unexplainable reason, the game glitched and I am now stuck with water walking an breathing. It is really irritating.

Maybe someone can make a mod like stat restore to restore permanent effects.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem through the console, please, please tell me!

You can't, load an earlier save. Effects which are part of enchantments cannot be disabled if removing the item doesn't remove it. Abilities can only be removed if you know the ID of that exact ability. Wyre bash might be able to do something, otherwise you'll just need to use an earlier save.

Is there any way or anywhere I can get the exact ID of the effect?

Notice the wording...

You can get the ID of the enchantment by looking in the CS, but using "player.removespell <ID>" in console probably won't work (havn't acutally tried) since enchantments are handled differently than spells and other abilities. I would make sure that you aren't still wearing the item, and that you don't have anything else active that might give you waterbreathing/walking. Try equipping and removing the ring a few times. See if wyrebash can do anything to solve the issue. If you were wearing the ring when you turned it over, you may need the same exact ring to disable the effect (I believe there is more than 1 listed in the CS) by wearing it, then removing it.

Or, stop wasting time, considder it a bug, load from an earlier save, and don't repeat your mistakes.
