I took a dress I'm rather fond of, and combined it with a simple arena robe mod, to make a arena robe replacer mod. problem: the robe is one slot only, but the dress is 3 slots (upper, lower, feet). I am able to get the upper and lower body part to work in-game, but the boots just will not stay on her feet. nope. no boots. I'm not even sure if I'm using Nifskope properly, or if something else is the matter. Ok! on the the second mod. During the DB quest, where you are to go to that house as a guest, you are given an enchanted robe. its ugly. yep thats pretty much it. I want to change it into something I'd actually want to wear to a party. but I have no idea how to go about doing that. I know I need create a plugin with my dress in it, but I want to replace the other one. Um I'm even having trouble describing what it is I don't know how to do. I'm not even sure if I'm using Nifskope properly, or if something else is the matter.The arena rainments are three-slot items, so I'd expect a replacement mod to stick with that, so is this really the opposite? Are you trying to replace a three-slot item with a single-slot one? And where does NifSkope come into it? This looks like just a CS operation. The form for the item declares which parts of the character mesh are removed to make way for the clothing/armor item. If you want the character's feet to stay there, just uncheck that part.
