HCon0
I'm trying to make a 9mm pistol with the same scope zoom level as a sniper rifle.I've tried setting the Sight FOV, min and max range, sight usage, spread, min spread, reach, the scope's target mesh and the scope mod's effect value to match that of the anti-materiel rifle. I've tried setting a few of these values to match that of the sniper rifle (even though it doesn't get a scope by mod), and experimenting with setting some custom values. The scope zoom is still that of a regular scoped 9mm pistol. This leads me to the question from the title: Is it possible to sniper-like zoom to regular one-handed pistols? If yes, can someone with the proper skills tell me what GECK values I need to change?
ModelV
I think this requires changing the data from the weapon mod itself changing the stats of the gun only changes its unmodded version from what i understand...
n0t0ryczny
If I understood correctly, you want to add a powerful scope effect to 9mm pistol. It involves changing only the weapon stats. Basic assumption: 9mm pistol has Sight FOV 65.00 (narrows field of view from default to 65 degrees when zoomed in, default fov is 75 degrees on 16:9 screen). In 'Art and Sound' tab in GECK mark 'comes from the weapon mod' flag. In 'Mod Info' tab next to mod effect 'Increase Zoom' change the value; enter difference between 65 (default sight) and 28 (AMR sight). 37 seems correct. It should work. Hunting Rifle goes from 38 degrees sight fov to 25.
