My computer hates OBSE?

So heres the deal guys, I can launch oblivion normally, but if I try and launch it through the OBSE launcher directly or with OBMM it crashes instantly.

Im not new to modding, I just dont understand why its acting up.

Its not mod related because I cant run OBSE with only the oblivion.esm either. Im also running Oblivion stutter remover and NifSE

Im on Win 7 32bit and using CD, and im also up to date v1.2.0416

Does anyone know a way to fix this or if I will miss out on any features in my mods?

Be sure your OBSE is not being blocked by Windows UAC. :wallbash:

Are you running the D2D version of Oblivion? or any other download version except Steam?

D2D and other downloadable versions(except Steam) will not work with OBSE because of added security features they put in by D2D and the others. :confused:

 

Then if you are using the steam version did you read the install instructions for Steam?

 

Have you tried removing and reinstalling OBSE entirely? especially any shortcut that may be pointing to the wrong location for either OBSE or Oblivion.

Nope, its from a CD version, ill check my UAC settings but it shouldnt be a problem because It was running fine last week but then it started doing this, so i uninstalled it and tried it again today but

no matter how many times I re install OBSE it doesnt seem to work

Found the problem

it was a OBSE plugin, i checked those earlier but I must have missed OBGE

Im not even sure why that was installed
