Deleted2448352User
I've found that the SecureRom BS on the steam version of Witcher 2 can decrease your performance significantly. I moved paul.dll to the desktop and renamed it paul.backup. I am now able to play with ubersampling enabled on 1440x900 (native resolution) with my GTX470 oc. It worked for me very well. If you try this and it breaks your game it's not my fault. I haven't run into any problems as of yet. If I do, I hope replacing paul.dll will work; however, I don't know if I can go back to not using ubersampling. Apparently, you don't even need the GOG witcher2.exe for this to work. Just move paul.dll to your desktop. I will follow this up with a quantification using fraps. Hopefully, this is not placebo effect I'm experiencing. edit: after going through FRAPS, I was experiencing a placebo effect. In fact, DRM had been removed with patch 1.1, which I had not realized. Sorry. Edited October 8, 2011 by Guest
