sorceress99
If your looking for a true nude female character, then you need to install one of the body mods, like HGEC, Roberts female, TGND, THEC, UFF and others. This will make you character nude when not wearing armor or clothing. If you want underwear, there are several lingerie mods you can use. ColourWheel has some nice mods that do that. Most armor/clothing mods on Nexus is based on the HGEC body by RAIAR/Madcat221 :http://tesnexus.com/...le.php?id=15802 . You can choose which breast size and body style you want upon installation, from vanilla to exagerated. Next is Roberts Female. It is another good body mod though not as supported as HGEC. Amor and clothing mods will use their own body texture when wearing them. The body mod you use will only affect how you look when undressed. Any armor or clothing you put on replaces your body and reverts back when you take it off. Edited October 10, 2011 by sorceress99
DrakeTheDragon
Actually the trouble is it "doesn't" use the texture coming with the armor, or it wouldn't be "skin" to begin with. Even the meshes inside armors will use the race texture setting for the respective slot in the CS.That's the source for all the texture anomalies you get when wearing a Vanilla item, thus having a Vanilla body mesh as you mentioned already, but using a body mod. The textures will be the body mod's while the mesh will be Vanilla, thus it will not fit, sometimes not even work. Additionally most body mods use only 2 or 1 texture files, assigned to the "foot" slot mostly for causing the least conflicts, the Exnem family also uses the "hand" slot, while Vanilla was using 1 texture file for each body part. That's why it's always wrongly proclaimed that Vanilla items can be worn fine on body mods' bodies and will only cause a few gaps at the connecting bodyparts, while in reality the issues this causes are far worse when it comes to "custom races" in general.A race designed with a special body mod as requirement in mind will likely only have the texture files this body mod requires, thus only "foot" or maybe also "hand". Upperbody and lowerbody will not have a texture file, thus a Vanilla body mesh will be missing textures (or fall back to Imperial skin) for those bodyparts. And one more thing, you don't "need" a lingerie mod for underwear with body mods. Every body mod I know has an underwear option, most of them even as default. It is a widely common misconception that "body" mod automatically means "nude" mod. Edited October 11, 2011 by DrakeTheDragon
