Bee1985
How do you load up original models and textures of Oblivion in TESconstruction set?Or how do you extract original textures and models from the game to edit them?
TheTerminator2004
The meshes and textures are stored in special .bsa files (Bethesda Softworks Archive). You need to use a utility such as OBMM to extract them.
Sypron
Or, if you don't want to use OBMM (I don't), you can also try BSA Unpacker.
Septim741
And, of course, to edit them you'll want GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program - www.gimp.org) or Adobe Photoshop for textures, and Blender (www.blender.org) or some other 3D Modeling program to do the models. To view the models and apply the textures, you'll need NifSkope (www.niftools.com or something like that). Good luck!
