Herkmeck
I just reinstalled Fallout 3, patched to 1.7 with the Broken steel, point lookout, the pitt and operation Anchorage add on packs. What I am getting with the start up menu is "The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll." Error message and the game does not play. What am I missing? iFSS
What am I missing?Games for windows live. You can get round the error in FOMM by going to Tools -> Install tweaker, placing a check next to "Use fake xlive.dll" & click apply. luthienanarion
I've got the Nexus Mod Manager, is there any hope for me?Download and install GFWL as required by the game.
raventrigun
Yes, GFWL the version installed by the game tends to not work at all http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-gb/live/pages/livejoin.aspx Just download the client and the message should clear and the game should launch just fine. There is also a GFWL Remover on the Fallout 3 Nexus that fixes the issue as well.

raventrigun
@bben46 you should really make a sticky with the solutions to these easy problems. But the harsh reality is it probably won't stop them from posting a thread anyway.
