veknilo
I have Fallout NV for steam in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegasI've gone to the NVSE site and download 2.9, opened the folder, and copy pasted everything inside it into the fallout new vegas folder (not the data one as many of the forums have said not to do)I can use fallout mod manger to launch new vegas using NVSE, and in game when i use the command getnvseversion it tells me NVSE version 2.However its not working; load screens look the same, and when in chat with someone theres the typical 3 selections before needing to scroll down. Am I doing something wrong?
luthienanarion
NVSE does not do anything by itself. If getnvseversion returns a value, then your problem is not with NVSE. What UI mod are you trying to use?

What UI mod are you trying to use? my friend told me to just install it and it would change how everything looks, such as going from 3 selections in chat to say 6-7. Im going to assume i have to install a mod that requires NVSE to do that right?

Try looking for a UI mod if its the chat box size you want to change. Remember to read the description. Mods requiring NVSE say so.
kevin974
Sounds like your looking for something like MTUI(which I use) or a mod that incorporated Darnified UI(I used this with FO3) I may be mistaken but FOOK may also do something with menus, I know they changed quite a few loading screens along with a whole bunch of other things. Good luck finding what you're looking for.
