kingtitan
I am trying to edit a lowerbody nif for my default lowerbody. I opened up the .nif that i wanted to edit and the nif that I wanted to take the edit from (going for larger lowerbody "area," default just isn't cutting it). So, I selected the larger "area," right clicked went block -> copy branch. Then I went to the .nif that needs help and right clicked the smaller "area," clicked remove, and then after hit paste branch. Looks fine in the .nif viewer, but when it loads in game, NOTHING is there! Its like the game won't load either area. I've had the same problem with other .nif's i have tried to edit with similar results. Can anyone please help me out so that my nif edits are not invisible? MShoap13
You have an issue with rigging your body part to the skeleton most likely. What program were you attempting to modify the mesh with? It's highly recommended to use Blender. Have you looked at the body mods already available btw? HGEC is by far the most used, and I personally recommend getting EVE Variants as it comes with all available "part sizes" for HGEC and the appropriate clothing replacers to reflect the body parts you choose. kingtitan
Ahh that is an important piece of information that I forgot! I was using nifskope, but after toying around with it enough, I figured out my issue. In nifskope I was pasting the branch to a generic location instead of actually pasting it to the root. Basically it was there in nifskope because I had pasted it, but it wasn't actually attached to the root. Once I figured that out, everything worked out! Thanks for your reply tho, Mshoap!! Kudos.
