How are you getting Skyrim?

Pre-ordered and payed for Collectors Edition as soon as it was announced this summer. Kinda regretting I didnt choose to pick it up at the store, but I might call and change that. It's just a pain having to drive into the middle of Stockholm on a friday :P In worst case scenario I'll just buy it on Steam as well. Totally worth it!

I would truly love the Collector's edition, but I just don't feel like spending that kind of money on it.

Well, I've pre-ordered the game on the PC and the game guide for PC. I'll pick it up in the store. But so far they haven't confirmed if they'll have a midnight release, all I know is that Battlefield 3 will have a midnight release, and I'm guessing Skyrim doesn't have as many fans as Battlefield 3, and Modern Warfare 3 will be released like a few days before Skyrim. They won't have midnight release on all the games, so I'm holding my thumbs they will have a midnight release. Otherwise I'll go after school on Friday and get it from the store.

I pre-ordered on Amazon with the deliver 11-11-11 option. I guess they will either get the game early or tell the distributor where to send it. :yes:

I haven't checked if mine is doing a midnight release but I think most at least in the United States are doing midnight release. If I could I would gather together a band of TES fans and total just raid the store on 11-10-11 if they get Skyrim in a day earlier.

pre-ordered the collector's edition, since i waited a little bit before it came out it said it would show up at the earliest on Nov. 17 :facepalm: anyway i can wait, and then i play it until i have to leave my computer screen to avoid starvation. :P

You also have to factor in download time since you won't have the disc like everyone else; yours is going to take a lot longer to download so unless you have like an extremely fast internet connection, then you won't be able to play it til probably close to the same time as everyone else; that's probably why it's an earlier release.
