Conforming facial hair

'lo everyone.

 

I was wondering what people used for conforming stuff here in FNV. Back in my day, we used The Conformulator, but it completely refuses to work for me (rather, it throws an exception and doesn't appear to spit a file out).

 

The reason I ask, is I would like to convert some facial hair from a standard head mesh to a third-party one. I tried simply transforming+applying the mesh in Nifskope and using the stock egm/tri files, but predictably it didn't work.

 

 

So, how to go about this? I know there must be some way, what with all the new/converted Oblivion/FO3 hair and facial hair on the Nexus.

 

 

Edit: scratch that, the old egm works fine...so long as I use the showbarber command and manually apply it. Otherwise, it absolutely refuses to apply. Bloody annoying.
