Anthony Xiii
Plese every1 if you know some scripting tools that can script objects easier.I'm using TESCS but its too hard to script objects by writing something that sounds stupid.I know already OBSE and I can't use it becoz' I need oblivion patch 1.2 and somehow when patching, it says that I have right version of some file in oblivion directory. o_O But month later I patched again oblivion and it worked perfectly but all textures was gone. :( If you really know some scripting tools (not OBSE) please put filenames here. If you are just learning scripting, using OBSE is not the way to go since several functions can seriously screw up your game if you don't know what you're doing. The only tool I know about is one found here:http://canadianice.ufrealms.net/forum2/ind...hp?topic=4018.0 It's essentially a text editor that has various things color coded for easier viewing. It can make putting together a script a bit easier, but it won't do it for you. If you're looking for some sort of program where you just click a few buttons and it gives you a script, you're poo out of luck. No such program exists, and even if it did, the amount of things you could actually do with it would be very limited to the simplest of scripts. Also, since most scripts require some knowledge of what functions need that is mod dependant (form IDs, references, ect.) it wouldn't necessarily make anything easier. The bottom line is that you'll just have to sit down and do alot of reading, get familiar with functions, and learn to script like everyone else. As far as scripting goes, Oblivion is far from complicated.
