AoiSekai
I did not know of the bug when I got in to the mine, so I fought my way all the way to the end thinking that it would be there... And yeah, it wasn't, obviously. I've searched it up and found out about the bug. I also looked for the fix itself, but it won't help me since the game's auto-saves won't go before the mines. Is there ANYTHING to do to recover my main character's gears? It's a shame to lose the Battledress of the Provocateur, Voice of Velvet, Rose's Thorn and more. I don't care what I'll use, I just don't want to lose my gears because of some bug.
amycus
You could use the winter forge mod to create them piece by piece, but otherwise I don't know unless you have a prior save. Its a good idea to make some regular saves instead of just relying on the autosaves, you know...
AoiSekai
I do not rely on the auto-saves, I use quick-saves. Sadly, you don't go through games expecting game-breaking bugs. I'll try saving before every major in-game thing from now on, though. Thank you, I'll try recreating them right now. Can't really remember which rings I wore, but no problem there, can always pick a few up. Not as big as the best daggers in-game. Edit: I have tried using the Winter Forge mod, the problem is that I can't exactly recreate the daggers, and it's because of the major stats they give. Voice of Velvet gives a 25% chance to dodge, while the maximm possible with this mod is 12%, that's a pretty big change.. Is there no other way? Edit 2: I remember this mod I used for DA2 that you could access from the console, and it let you put in a partial item's name and the loot menu would pop up, with any item that has what you've put. Is there possibly something similar for DA:O? Edited October 14, 2011 by AoiSekai

amycus
I would avoid bumping the thread since that is against this sites rules. That being said, I remember now that there is one console code that works in awakening and should be just what you need: runscript zz_fab It will teleport you to a secret area which has all the items in the expansion (and main campaign as well, if I remember correctly). Just pick up what you want and exit through the door.

Phaenan
Edit: I have tried using the Winter Forge mod, the problem is that I can't exactly recreate the daggers, and it's because of the major stats they give. Voice of Velvet gives a 25% chance to dodge, while the maximm possible with this mod is 12%, that's a pretty big change.. Is there no other way? In the override mode, the max +dodge modifier with the lastest release (or with every v0.5+ if memory serves) should be 21% through 3% steps. With the optional cheat package the max value should be 60%~ish. The 12% limit you're hitting probably comes from the enchantment craftskill rather than from the override / "item editing" mode. To enable the override mode, switch the option in the configuration then re-open your TWF action bars via the Forgesmith's tools. The new override mode icon will be the padlock on the far right end of the action bar.http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/7268/overm.jpgOnce in the override mode, you'll be able to use the "Prp" set of buttons to select and add/edit/remove specific properties.http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/2899/removeja.jpg
