Adding textures to custom creatures...?

OK, so I'm trying to port Trogs from FO3 "The Pitt" into New Vegas.

I've already placed the Textures and Meshes folders into the NV directory, and in GECK, I created a custom creature and gave it streettrog "Skeleton.nif" (which seems to have automatically established animations, ragdoll and body-part data as well as a mess of other things...)

It just lacks a texture. The Trog looks fine, but it's using one of the default ground textures to cover the entire body.

 

I have all of the Trog textures in directory, but I have no idea how to apply textures to a Creature.

 

(I'm not looking for a functional, voiced, active Trog. I'm just looking for a stationary Trog that will do nothing but sit there and look pretty. And maybe sandbox.) :psyduck:
