Kry
First things first... Id like to thank all the modders who have made my game ALOT more interesting :) Now to the modAfter watching Van Helsing today i felt like vampires in oblivion are kinda underrated. So here comes my idea...There should be like a city for vampires with guild and so on. The entrance to there would be maybe through a portal like in Van Helsing. I havent really thought about all the things that should be in this city but heres what i've come up with so far:-Several shops-A Castle-Guild hall(s)-Quests-BIG sewer system with strong enemys like umm.... insane vampires and so on??? :D -24/7 night(dont know if its possible)-NPCs(vampires only of course)-Something like arena if possible Im sure there are several other things what would make this city awesome. Dont know what this vamp guild should be like. Maybe with quest in the sewers and the highest rank would be... The count/countess of the city :D Ohh and this city should ONLY be accessable to vampires Well thats it for now. Im pretty new in modding but if someone actually takes up this project then i would be more than happy to help :)
LoginToDownload
Traditionally, I believe vampire cities are done entirely underground. I was actually planning on something... Similar, at one point in the future, but the logistics of an actual vampire city tend to cause trouble... It would take a lot of blood for a city's worth of them. Kry
Underground ehh??? Pretty good idea. That would totally solve the sunlight issueOhh and if anyone has any tips for me on where to start with this mod then it would be awesome ;) Im pretty determined to make this mod but i cant do everything by myself. Specially since i dont know much about modding. So some help would be great :)
LoginToDownload
Wait a second... Guildhalls? That wouldn't drive Guild PR into the ground. :P I'm not totally sure about where to start... If you're confident in your ability to make houses and quests, and determination isn't an issue, I'd start by looking at the objects in the Construction Set and see if there's enough there to work for you, or if you'll need new meshes/textures. If not, I would suggest putting this idea down for a while and work on smaller things until you have a strong grasp of the Construction Set. It's hard to even form a group if one's inexperienced. House-mods are good practice (Particulaly if you want to make an undergroundish house), and quest mods are always in demand, though they're somewhat difficult. Just about every CS resource one could need can be found at The Construction Set Wiki. I do like this idea, and best of luck if you do pursue it. I can help with littlish things and advice (Well, what advice I can give, anyways), but my plans for such a city (Which I intend to carry out at one point) are very different and I'm not very confident in my own abilities. Kry
*was away a couple of days*Well anyways... im back now and tried to do some things in TESCS and its alot harder than i thought ;D I quess this project is is going on a "Stand by" for a while. At least as long as i get to understand CS more or some more experienced modders offer a helping hand :D
jamesp81
It would take a lot of blood for a city's worth of them. Granted, but that could be dealt with. Perhaps this city has a band of hunters that goes and...appropriates human prisoners for this purpose?
LoginToDownload
Or a bandit fort next door. :PI'm definitely not saying it can't be dealt with...
