Prevent settlers from stealing mod?

Every time I go back to Sanctuary after a radiant attack some of my settlers looted stuff from my workbench:

 

- High-tier weapons (especially the legendary ones)

- Ammo (I mean ALL ammo, e.g. amounts of 4k 5.56 mm or 190 missiles)

 

I tried to put my stuff into a custom container - doesn't work. They just loot everything.

I also gave them some decent weapons which I modded myself so they wouldn't have to steal. But they take my stuff either way.

 

So is there any solution yet? I know I'm not the only one with this problem but I couldn't find anything helpful yet.
