theBusStop Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) Just like the title says, I'd like to be able to break down weapons into their separate weapon mods. So if you find for example a 50.cal sniper rifle and you want to take that 50.cal receiver and put it on your legendary Instigating hunting rifle you don't first have to waste recourses creating a standard receiver for the 50.cal sniper rifle, you can just break it down into it's separate mods and apply the 50.cal on your legendary. I don't know if something like this would even be possible (if not, bummer, but I wil understand) but if so, I would really apreciate it if a modder would take a crack at it Edited May 27, 2016 by theBusStop Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I do think this mod would have to completely break the weapon down, though. I doubt the game has a way of managing an incomplete item in inventory (i.e., a rifle with no barrel, pistol with no grip, etc.). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
theBusStop Posted May 27, 2016 Author Share Posted May 27, 2016 Yeah, that was what I was getting at, so 10mm pistol will be turned into a 10mm reciever mod, a 10mm barrel mod, a 10mm magazine mod, etc. Although, fun fact, the game actually is able to handle an incomplete item in your invetory. I know this because my mods once screwed up and the stock of my sniper rifle disapeared so I ended up with only a reciever and a scope in my hands and I had to remake to stock, barrel and magazine (it staill was able to shoot and everything) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
