InfiniteIQ
Hey People. I've been stuck with this particular bug for some time now.. When in first person, my view is like 3 feet above my character... Animations look really weird and it really destroys my immersion. Been googling it and checking out the forums, but it seems all fixes are for people who use DR6, which I don't. I have BBB and CMCS, and a few pose mods (and I think I installed some kind of idle animation mod), but I don't know what to do... :/Does anyone else have this problem (or at least know a fix)?I've attached a pair of screenshots showing what it looks like. I should probably add that it goes down to normal view whenever I move, but moves up when I stand still...
MShoap13
You're most likely using a skeleton that is incompatible with one of your animation mods. Check their readme's and check their archives to see if any of them came with a skeleton.nif located at \Data\Meshes\Characters\_1stperson\

Heard that a fix was to reinstall Oblivion, but I'd rather not, since I have like 30 or so mods installed ^^
MShoap13
As I said, find out what mods have a skeleton at that location (by digging through their archives) and extract skeletons into your \Data\ folder until you get it right. If you have any other mods that require a specific (incompatible) skeleton you'll have to disable one or live with whatever bug replacing the skeleton with the one that fixes your camera creates. Yeah, its odd. So far only one savegame has been f*cked up. I have three characters atm, and only one is bugged. The other two work fine... ^^I've played on all three, and the only reason I can think of would be that the bugged one is the only vanilla race, but that doesn't seem likely :S
TrueOrigin
A lot of people have this bug, and so far, I've found a few cases where a different skeleton doesn't help, which is why a reinstall is often recommended. Personally I've tried the vanilla skeletons, all the body mod skeletons, and the universal skeletons, and none of them help.
