screaminseahawk
After having to take two months off of gaming, I'm back. I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I also downloaded the last two DLC's for Fallout 4, but my NMM update is confusing me. I guess the addition of the GECK screwed up mods (as expected), but I can't see if I have the updated version or not. 90% of my 200 mods have a yellow "!", saying I need to update the ID info. But if I do that, the only ones that list info show the latest version, even if I don't have it! I don't even know what current version I have. So even if I manually checked each mod, I wouldn't even know if I had the newest one or not. I'm assuming I'm not the only one dealing with this. Is there any fix anyone is aware of? I'd REALLY like to try out this new DLC soon. Now more importantly, I'm getting CTD's when loading games. I can't even start a new game with no mods (it instantly crashes). All of my NVIDIA drivers are updated. I've updated all the important mods I can think of. I've disabled the one UI mod I had (I read that people had issues with that). But nothing is working. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. Thank you! *Note: Skyrim loads and works fine.
YeOldeSensenmann
Make sure you have the latest NMM installed. 0.61.23Now click on the arrow next to the binocular icon you use to check for mod updates and let it check for missing/outdated download IDs. Once that's done your mods should have the correct info again. As for UI mods, disabling the UI mod is probably not enough as they create a folder that rarely gets deleted when you uninstall them. Go to your Fallout4/data folder and check if there is a folder in it called Interface. Delete that if it exists.
