Texturer Needed

I'm creating a custom armor and helmet set to bring a character I'm playing in a Youtube series into New Vegas. I've started with the helmet; the modelling is 100% done, but I can't build a texture from scratch worth a damn. I need help from someone who has the ability to create a really authentic texture - something that looks like it could have shipped with the game. To have it made for me will be awesome; to be shown how to do it myself would be awesome to the power of infinity.

 

The second episode of the series, and the first to feature the current helmet:

 

Obviously in the game there will be a 10mm Pistol (Dual 10mms? Ah, but that is a discussion for another time) substituted for the Nerf Guns. I am of course able to email the .max file, as well as my ill-conceived attempt to create the texture myself (if anyone should want it). The model has been separated into four different objects for a bit more ease of texturing: the vents, the visor, the shell, and the neck cloth.

you want that helmet but aged?

Not even aged, necessarily. I have a woefully poor understanding of bump and specular maps, both of which are vitally important to this object. Since I've posted I took a second shot at the texture, and it actually looks okay. I'll still take any help I can get.
