DolvirLeGlorieux17
Hi, I'm new modder, I want to take a skyrim face to put it on a new NPC of Fallout 4. So I extract all meshes (.nif / .tri) and texture (.dds) from skyrim using BAE and I put them in the right FO4 folder. But when I want to edit my new NPC in the CK, the model doesn't appear and there is a red exclamation mark instead. Should I create a new Race for my NPC? Should I convert all of the head parts before exporting them to Fallout 4? How I make it? Thanks in advance. EmissaryOfWind
Sounds like you didn't convert the nif correctly. There are a few tutorials out there, you can't just use it as-is.
DolvirLeGlorieux17
Thanks for responding me, I have few questions : - Is the mod that I'm creating against Bethesda's TOS?- How can I convert .nif using NifSkope?- Is the .tri files working even without conversion? Please respond me, I'm stuck since 2 days. Edited May 28, 2016 by DolvirLeGlorieux17
