Xenobuzz
Greetings, all! I just upgraded my Duo Core 2.55 GHz HP with an ATI Radeon R4870 card. MAN, does it make FO3 and BioShock flow like melted buttah, even at 1920 x 1080! I have two headphone options right now. One is Sony's MDR-XB500 which is great for music and has VERY soft and comfortable ear cushions, but when plugged into my Logitech X-540 surround system some of the in-game audio in FO3 gets REALLY quiet. I'm guessing that's a limitation of the coax connection? My other option is Microsoft's LifeChat LX-3000 USB headphones that provide great sound, but their fit is rather tight and my ears start to hurt from being pressed against the legs of my glasses after only a few hours. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a pair of USB heaphones (preferably with a mic) that give great sound, but also are comfortable to wear for long periods? Thanks! Dave S. ginnyfizz
Oddly enough I use a really relatively cheap pair similar to these ones;- Plantronics .Audio 326 Stereo Headsets with mic Which I have found excellent both for gaming and for Skype. blove
Logitech H530 USB Connector Circumaural Headset Are what I use and find comfortable. The sound is decent and the microphone is much better than I expected it to be. I picked up mine at Wal-Mart. Headphones are one of those items I just do not like to buy without putting my hands on them first (even if they are blisterpacked).
