YesRoyalty
All righty. I'm having what is bound to be a user malfunction here. I've got a custom object that's ready to be tested in-game, but the GECK is giving me a hard time. When I try to select the .nif model for my object - not just my model, ANY model - it gives me an "Invalid Directory" message and refuses to cooperate. The place I've unpacked the BSA to is Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas/Data/Modding Stuff/FalloutNV - Meshes ... et cetera (the underlined portion denotes folders I put in myself). Does anyone know what I've done to make the modding gods so angry?
Skevitj
If you place the mesh within a folder within Data/Meshes/ does it still give you the error? I'm pretty sure it's set up to not like having to look for meshes outside the meshes folder.
Werne
You can't use models if they are out of the Data/meshes folder.
