Aerodiablo
Alright, heres my problem. I've gotten tons of mods that add new items. However, when I equip them they make that part of my characters body (E.G legs make the legs dissappear, something like Dark Brotherhood Armor makes everything but my head and weapon dissappear ect.) This normally woulden't be a problem, but most item mods I've gotten are for... their visual quality. ;) Anyway, I bought the PC version mainly so I could use the consel (Coulden't stand knowing that PC users could on my Xbox) and for item mods. I'm pretty sure I've installed them right, considering I did the same with them as I do all my other mods. And the others work perfectly. However, I must admit I've left the "Meshes" and "Textures" folders that they came with just sitting there; I'm not for sure what or if I should do anything with them. BigT17
did you put the meshes/textures from the mod in the mesh/texture folders in the oblivion data file? if you didn't then this might be the reason.
Aerodiablo
No, I've left them there. :P Am I supposed to but them in the original BSA files or is there a folder I'm looking for?
Abramul
\Meshes and \Textures go in \Oblivion. There may already be folders by those names there, so if it asks you if you want to overwrite the folder, say yes.
BigT17
put them in:C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data and then the mesh and texture folders if that is easier to understand
herosinger
Most mods are packed so that you can extract them directly to Oblivion\Data. The meshes and textures folders are essential to the mods you're trying to use. Without them, the game doesn't have the meshes and textures - hence: invisibility. I would suggest reading through the Oblivion Mods FAQ.
