The shovel that started it all

This is (I hope) a small and simple request. What I'd like is a unique shovel, or more accurately the one used to knock you out and ultimately get you shot in the head from a few feet away.

 

Appearance: standard shovel handle, a large dent in the head with a small amount of blood similar to that on chance's knife, but splattered in and around the dent, and no rust on the head.

 

Name: Surprise! (although anything better is fine, since this name is rather bland an unfunny)

 

Stats:

 

Damage

dmg/attack: 20

DPS: 25

crit dmg: 35

crit chance: x 3

 

Attack statistics

attacks/sec: 1.25

AP: 30

effect: +80 Fatigue damage;

+15 Damage otherwise

 

Requirements:

skill: Melee Weapons 20

strength req.: 4

 

item HP: 450

weight: 3

value: 103

 

 

The V.A.T's attack would be the same as it is now and it should be able to dig graves. It would be located sticking out of the dirt pile next to your grave in Goodsprings cemetery (or in the grave if it's easier) and would only appear with wild wastelands as a chosen perk

 

It's always bugged me that the shovel that got you into this mess isn't in the game, and there aren't any mods to add some irony to our revenge on Benny if we use melee weapons.

Hopefully this isn't to difficult for some kind modder to do and you have my thanks even for a reply.

 

Although this is what I'd like, you can do as much or as little as you please and I'll be thankful regardless.

Whilst I know new posts are frowned upon and post editing is preferred, I felt this deserved a separate post as it a different weapon as opposed to a re stat, which I feel people would thing it was if it were in the same post.

This is basically an alternative that would most likely require even less work, I like the other one better, but if someone is kind enough to do this, they can do whatever they please.

 

 

Appearance: a shovel with a snapped handle (so that its about dress cane length, maybe shorter), some blood on the head like on chance's knife but coming away from the tip and a dark wood handle.

 

Name: Ol' Reliable (although anything better is fine, since this name is rather bland an unfunny)

 

Stats:

 

Damage

dmg/attack: 15

DPS: 33

crit dmg: 20

crit chance: x 2.5

 

Attack statistics

attacks/sec: 2.2

AP: 25

effect: +60 Fatigue damage;

+8 Damage otherwise

 

Requirements:

skill: Melee Weapons 10

strength req.: 2

 

item HP: 250

weight: 2.5

value: 75

 

The V.A.T's attack would be the running downward strike (used by the dress cane for example) as this weapon would be one handed.

Although it would be nice for it to look snapped, like sheered or splintered, I'm completely at your mercy and would be thankful for even an attempt. Once again this would only appear with wild wasteland, but would be discarded with the other junk that litters the cemetery, it could not dig up graves.

 

Although this is what I'd like, you can do as much or as little as you please and I'll be thankful regardless.

i do like these ideas...the golf club gets a unique why shouldn't the shovel! (especially as it is one weapon I always carry unless it is removed by force)
