Bernt
Hi, this is not about a problem. But I was just wondering what I can expect when I soon do an upgrade to my PC. My harddrive has started making funny!! noises, and I'm going to retire it in favor of an SSD. At the same time I'll boost my ram from 4G to 8G. Is there any chance that I'll be able to run more mods -atm my limit is 139, FO3 an NV alike- or will it just! boost my performance a bit.Bernt
AlfredTetzlaff
Hi,if not already done, you should upgrade your OS to a 64bit version, otherwise the 4GB of additional RAM would be wasted.About raising the mod limit I'm not sure. But enabling the Large Address Aware Flag with NVSE after doing the Upgrade may help a lot.
luthienanarion
Running this game off of an SSD will greatly increase performance, but you will not be able to use 140+ mods. It's not a hardware limitation.
Bernt
Hi, thanks for your replys. I'm currently running Win7, 64 bit with 4Gb enabler on a quad core cpu. Looking forward to what improvements will come my way. Guess I'll have to learn to merge :whistling:
