ENB causing CTD on start-up

I have a similar problem since the 1.5.205 update. CTD from start regardless of mods. Restarting my computer will allow fo4 to start once and run normally. when I exit the game it will CTD until my pc is restarted again.

What I have tried:

  1. Reinstalling windows
  2. latest gpu drivers
  3. no mods or loaders || just f4se || just enb || various mixes
  4. looking for services or applications starting with fo4 that are not closing when exiting fo4
  5. Scratching my head.

I am at an end to anything I can think of. I generally make my own mods and having to restart my pc whenever I test a change is frustrating to say the least.

F4se beta .205 works with 1.5.205 update. New steam beta 1.5.211 just rolled out, so make sure your Fallout4 profile is set to opt out any of it (if you had it turned on before). There is no F4se for v.211 atm.

I have tried without any mods or loaders, a full clean install. It just will not start without restarting my computer.

Clean install doesn't matter when Steam downloads updates in the background. It's enough to just have it open, even when not playing Fallout 4. It's a bit annoying this time around. Last time there was a major update I had to keep my steam in offline mode for 2 days untill some of thew mods I was using got updated to the latest version.

So, some numbers and results thereof -

Win10pro_64bit_14393.rs1_release_inmarket.170303-1614 - Steam -

fo4 1.9.4.0.0 - f4se 0.3.00 -

enb 0311 - mods - ctd

enb 0311 - no mods - ctd

enb 0307 - no mods - ctd

enb 0291 - no mods - ctd

enb 0283 - no mods - ctd

no mods - OK

(no f4se) - enb 0311 - no mods - ctd

fo4 1.9.4.0.0 - f4se 0.3.00 - (no enb) - mods - OK
Are there some undocumented logs somewhere that might reveal the cause of this, do we think? I'm collecting crash dumps but they're 66mb each . . .

Came back after a hiatus and I'm experiencing the same thing. Disabled and deleted everything, but I'm pretty sure it's ENB causing my issues. This never used to be the case.

I have Enhanced Wasteland Preset installed. It used to work fine. Now my game crashes immediately upon launching the game. I removed the dxgi.dll that comes with EW Preset and the game works. What's going on and any ideas how to get the preset working again with it's dxgi.dll file?

Thanks
