Visual Glitch. Need help to identify!

Hi,

I have a visual glitch with my FNV setup. The screen shot is below:

Screenshot 1 (White lines)

Anyone has any idea what this can be?

Edit: I added one more screenshot (below) that shows a different part of the problem. As stated by luthienanarion below this might be a hardware/driver problem but there is not much problem with other games. Also I disabled all mods and tried it again to no good.

Screenshot 2 (Ditherlike glitch on the blue glow)

Thanks in advance.

Also here is some additional info (Load order, Mod List and the FalloutPrefs.ini and system specs) just in case it is needed!

System:

OS : Windows 7 64 bit

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T

RAM: 8 GB 1066 Mhz DDR3

Disk: 2x7200 rpm Sata disks in Raid 0

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6850

The white shapes on the geckos do not appear to be an in-engine glitch. You may have a corrupted driver or a failing/overheating video card.

Thanks luthienanarion. I am trying to figure out what might be wrong hardware driverwise. I have reinstalled the driver for the video card. But it did not do any good.

I also updated the original post with a new screenshot.

About the second screenshot – I see that a lot on alpha masked parts (especially when I pay attention :) )… Doesn’t matter what driver/video card or computer I use (it’s there with both ATI & Nvidia and I’ve tried it on a desktop and a laptop) – it’s there. I’ve also seen it in a lot of screenshots posted on Nexus. I too though it was some kind of glitch/bug at first, but in the end, I’ve come to suspect it’s simply the way Fallout NV’s engine handles transparency…

The second one I can definitely help with!

In your graphics settings, disable Transparency Multisampling. ATI's 11.x drivers have this visual bug when transparencies overlap in the game.

Thanks luthienanarion. Disabling Transparency Multisampling fixed my problem :D Thx a bunch mate!!
