Deleted4363562User
So I must've hit something, cause now when I duplicate a floor tile and try to move it into place against another floor tile, it will snap several feet below the other tiles on the z axis. Deleted4363562User
And when I move an existing floor tile, it snaps several feet below the other tiles now also. Again. I have no idea what I did.
Deleted4363562User
SOLVED: I accidentally reset the axis reference by hitting Shift+Q and clicking on nothing in the background. To fix this, hold Shift+Q and click on the object you wish to snap to. This will make snapping reference that object's axis positions.
RaffTheSweetling
Good to know. That info is gonna come in handy later I reckon. :) And many thanks for explaining why it happened instead of just posting "Solved" without sharing the cause, as so many do here. ;)
