T-stance vanilla armor glitch

So recently, I got onto fallout 4 and started noticing that many of the npc's that usually have vanilla armor on have a second, T-stance armor on top of them. Only vanilla armors have this issue (Combat, leather, metal, raider etc). I've done some messing around with my mods and pluggins, and to no avail I cannot find a way to fix it. I'm about to re verify my game integrity on steam. I'm posting to see if anybody has a solution or idea as to what is wrong. I'm thinking something in the data folder messed up and caused the overlapping t-stance armor. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
