Mods not working after far harbour download

Hi there, I previously downloaded a selection of mods for when I was playing fallout 4 in the months after release but have not played it for some time (I think since early february). With the release of far harbor I was wanting to play again but for some reason the vast majority of my mods (not all but most) have simply stopped working, not sure if this is due to me getting the DLC or subsiquent patches downloaded during my inactivity.
On NMM all mods are activated (i have tried turning them all off and on again), yet when I run LOOT the mods show up but for some reason are shown as inactive (no green tick next to them), correlating with my experiences upon loading a save game stating I am 'missing' mods, even though they are installed, activated on NMM and up to date. It seems for some reason most of my mods have been 'turned off' and I should somehow be able to turn them back on.
Most of my mods (though tedious) I would not mind simply re-installing them to see if that works, though I thought I should try and get them working first before trying that, especialy as one or two mods (like Homemaker and other settlement mods) have a very large presence in my saved games.
Unlike my skyrim (which seems to CTD very often, though granted I have allot more mods for that) Fallout 4 modding has never presented me with any serious issues before.

Any help would be greatly apreciated, thanks.

Solution 1: Create a Bethesda.net account, launch the game, go to Mods, log in to Beth.net, click on loadorder and enable your mods. This should only be necessary once.

Solution 2: Click on Start, enter %localappdata% in the search box and hit enter. In the folder that opens find the file called plugins.txt. Open that and put an * in front of all the mods. Save the file.

And finally, is your NMM up to date? The latest release is 0.61.23 and what you're describing should not be happening with that.
