smoyes
Thanks for the reply, is this with the console? If so, how do I use it (I don't know how to use the console)? Thanks again.

smoyes
Thanks for the reply, is this with the console? If so, how do I use it (I don't know how to use the console)? Thanks again.http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console_(Origins) I added the -enabledeveloperconsole to the end of the shortcut I made from the bin folder (I didn't use the one put there with the install). I went into the game, at the ruined temple, and I pressed the ~ key and started the runscript zz_eurodemo_end , all I got was a lot of menu coming up. I even tried using the start with console from the damodder program but got "file not found" with it. I guess the main thing I need now is how to get the console command to work. smoyes
Got the console to work (had to backspace before the ~ ), typed runscript zz_eurodemo_end and went to the Dalish camp. Went in and immediately after talking to the keeper, i came in again with the werewolfs and we killed all the Dalish. I have the weres in my army now and i can go on. My question is -- is there some reason I didn't get to do anything but kill Dalish at the camp after using the console to get there? I want to thank everyone that has responded. Thandal
Wait, which "ruined temple" are we talking about? The one on the mountain outside Haven is where the Sacred Ashes can be found. There are no weres there, and they're nowhere near the Dalish Camp. The "elven ruins" in the Brecilian Forest have nothing to do with Andraste or her ashes. If you're stuck in those, it's because you didn't find the pool that leads to the Liar of the Weres... If you don't break the curse (or otherwise conclude the encounter with Witherfang) then you get the result you experienced for the "Nature of the Beast" quest. Using the console teleport command short-circuited the plot choices.

I was stuck in the ruined temple with the sacred ashes, used the runscript zz_eurodemo_end, which put me outside he Dalish camp just like a regular. When the guard took me to the keeper we went through the regular dialogue and when he was going to show me the wounded Elves the scene shifted to the weres attacking and I was coming back to the camp with Witherfang. No choices, no going through the Bacilian Forest--just wipe the Elves out and then back to camp. I have no problem with this for this game, but if I get stuck in the Sacred Ashes temple again, I'd like to have a choice to keep the Elves. Thanks, I have never used that specific script myself, so I'm afraid I can't say if that is normal or not when using it. I just looked for a teleport script to any other area and assumed that it then would work for you (description just said that it teleported the party to the dalish camp). Here is otherwise other scripts that might help you (once again, never used it myself since I've never had that problem): runscript zz_pre_debug - Starts the Prelude Debug Helper Script which allows modification of plot states and teleporting.runscript zz_dlc_debug - Starts some Test Script which allows some modifications of plot states and teleporting.runscript zz_wmp_debug - Starts the World Map Debug Helper Script which allows altering the main plot states and finish any of the main quests immediately. Hope any of them helps you. Edited October 31, 2011 by amycus
Thandal
Or you might use this mod (one of my favorites!) to get around: Anytime World Map Travel. When installed, pressing "m" gives access to the full map no matter where you are. All unlocked locations are available. (Not sure why it's only on the BSN. Used to here as well... )
