Shantih
There are two jigsaw mods by the same author on the Fallout 3 Nexus: RR Companions - Jigsaw - Punisher Villain by SaTaNabusJoneshttp://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16070 Mysterious Stranger - Jigsaw - Punisher Villain by SaTaNabusJoneshttp://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16064 You may find them interesting. By the way you should search the Dragon Age Nexus that may give you some ideas. I used some pretty cool scar mods when I was playing this game and a quick search lead me to this mod: Decayed Facial Scar by beetohttp://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2066
HatterMaster
ooooo, seems the work may have already been done hahalove the decayed scar mod, might attempt to make something like it for NV if my lacking art skills will allow it. I can just imagine a mix of four claw scar going into a decayed facer scar, kinda like a deathclaw went and ripped off half your face. Would go great with some custom masks as well, which I might try my hand at with blender, since I always found the white glove mask, even when retextured, to be to posh for a wastelander
Shantih
Well that would be something really cool. I don't know anything about Blender and I have very little patience for it. I'm only starting to use Nifskope... I should give Blender another try but quite frankly I don't have enough time or energy left at the end of the day for dealing with that sort of thing. Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll come up with.
HatterMaster
well don't be exoecting much hahaand admittedly I don't know much, but if I can extract the mesh from NV for the white glove mask it shouldn't be hard to do things like remove the lips etc. I also want to try a custom shovel mesh that I requested which is a shovel with a dent, which should be very easy to do :)
Shantih
Sounds good to me. If you need to find a mesh in the BSA the easy way is to open the Geck find the item and look at the file path for the mesh. It's really basic stuff but I don't know maybe that helps (I don't know how well you know your way around the Geck). ;)

It's the shovel you were hit with to be knocked out with before you were shot, putting it in since I was disappointed it wasn't in the first place, made a thread asking for it but it died on it's feet, so I might have better luck if I supply the mesh  Thanks for all the help by the way, if I manage to cobble together something half decent I'll make sure to credit you, I'll wait until I can make something not to crap though so not to attach your name to my junk. Shantih
Thanks but I don't feel like I deserve such praise, all I've done was posting a few links. ;) And as far as junk is concerned I've uploaded some pretty basic mods myself. You've got to start somewhere and a first mod is rarely perfect. Heck most of the things I've uploaded are rather simple modifications but the more you look and the more you delve into the innards of the Geck and the more you learn about things that can be used to make the game more fun and more enjoyable. Your idea for the shovel is fun. The other day I had one of my characters using a shovel to kill Benny (I wanted a cool screenshot but didn't manage to take one that I liked). Hitting him over the head with the same shovel that was used to bury the Courier sounds like something some players would enjoy (I know I would). Anyway don't worry it shouldn't be too hard to find the shovel in the Geck.
HatterMaster
you've helped an infinite amount :)and I've worked out the stats for it, like KO damage and a lighter head texture, as if its the only "new" shovel in the world and it broke the first time it was used. only thing i can see needing help with is the texture for the head, really I just want a cleaner light metal with some blood in the dent and the name Edited October 21, 2011 by HatterMaster
Shantih
Try looking at textures for other weapons. Chance's Knife (the Unique combat knife) has some blood on the blade so it may give you some ideas.
