paulatreides0
So, for some reason, my creation kit UI just suddenly stopped working properly. I can no longer find or access the main menu window, which is a major pain because that means I can't do anything, since it's where you open and save files, amongst other things. Here's an image of all I can see: http://s33.postimg.org/qek7fk94d/Creation_Kit_Malfunction.png Does anybody know what is going on here, and how I fix this? This has been bothering me for hours, and it's absolutely driving me nuts. I've tried reinstalling the blasted thing, and nothing seems to change Edited June 1, 2016 by paulatreides0

I've tried reinstalling the blasted thing, and nothing seems to changeIt looks to me as if your SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini got screwed up somehow. Open your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim folder, or wherever your installation is,and look for the SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini file. make a copy of it just in case and put it somewhere safe. Then open the file and check the settings under [General]. Look down the list for Creation Kit W = (change the number to match the width of your monitor minus 10), and do the same for Creation Kit H = (change this to the height of your monitor, minus 50). And save the file. Reopen the CK and you should be able to adjust the main window after it has opened if it is to big or small. Don't worry about the Creation Kit Y = or X= They should be 3 and 1 respectively. I believe those are for the splash screen on startup. EDIT; Just noticed this is for Fallout 4 But the same should apply Edited June 1, 2016 by Aragorn58
