DarkTechnician
I recently decided to port over a weapon from a different 3d game, but it doesn't have the collision box thing around it for it.. and most likely isn't setup right for it either. I cant say what game it is, or what weapon it is, other than it is considered a new assault rifle from one of my favorite games.. and I don't plan on distributing it. I already imported it into maya, and exported it into a nif file, and set the right texture to it. The weapon model is mostly all one piece, and i have mod sets along with it. All I need to know is what parts to "break it up into" and what else I need to do in order to make it work correctly in Fallout New Vegas.. and I already konw about how to create a plugin and such, i just need the NIF setup info. Quetzlsacatanango
Compare your nif to a vanilla nif and make sure the important bits like trigger, projectile node, etc.. match up. You can take the collision box from an existing weapon as well.
