Adding Home Plate to Settlement Network....

I was wondering if anyone knew off hand how to add a house or settlement to the Settlement Link network, or whatever it's called in the CK. In this case, I'm trying to make Home Plate able to be linked. I'd also like to know how to link any workbenches I make inside with the ones outside.

I think I got it.

 

1. Click on workstation

2. Go to Linked Ref tab.

3.Right click and choose 'new'.

4. In the pop-up window choose Cell, in my case "DmndCityPlayerHouse01", then choose Keyword WorkshopLinkContainer, then hit ok.

 

I haven't tested, but I think this does it. Home Plate is an interior Workshop, so the process may be different for exterior workshops if you want things to spawn in or grow, like settlers or crops etc. I don't really know.

Ok, so I got the Keyword wrong for the linked containers and workstations. It should be "WorkshopItemKeyword". Just tested. It works.

 

I still have no idea what keywords are or how they work. Hahaha. I'm just winging it.
