mediocrememory
I have never had success editing .mmh files outside of changing them for quick swaps. I was wondering if anyone could help me with two issues I am having, or tell me if I'm looking in the completely wrong area: 1) When I try to do swaps, I prefer the armors that do not have a single mesh (not rob_### or bdy_###) giving my models invisible hands and feet. Is there a way to edit that since custom models in the apr_base, adding the equipment into the .utc and etc do not seem to work. I believe I need to find a way to compile all the armor pieces togethere into a sinble mmh, msh, phy to have it appear correctly but I'm at a loss as to how to do that. 2) Is there a way to remove parts of an armor through the mmh? Not full covering pieces but say a neck guard or plume on a helm? I love the harlequin armor from MotA dlc but the masks at the waist are... bothering me to say the least. Is there a way to remove them/make them invisible? As I said, I'm probably looking in the wrong area but any assistance would be greatly appreciated! ishmaeltheforsaken
You're looking in the wrong area. The .msh contains all the poly data; the .mmh has skeleton, animation weight, things like that. Editing a .msh by hand is impracticable. You'll need to use a 3D modeling program to edit models. Lightwave is the only app with a working exporter for DAII, as far as I know.
