vutall Posted October 19, 2011 Share Posted October 19, 2011 Hello all, so I am having an odd texture issue with stones/caves, When I am far away or even just a few steps back than in the following screenshot from certain textures they look fine. But when I get close up they "warp" and become a wierd blob of colors. Also forced Clamp on my Nvidia Texture Filtering Negative LOD bias settings.. Additionally I have used TES4Edit to edit out dirty edits, and then bash patched according to what bash suggested.. There's one of those pools where the Lotus flowers are below water level in the vanilla game and I believe the UOP may fix it with an altered mesh. Then, QTP3 adds a texture to that mesh and it apparently doesn't fit properly and appears stretched. Look for a patch for this maybe, or it could have something to do with BAIN? I installed the UOP and then QTP3 Redimized via OMOD and don't have this issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vutall Posted October 19, 2011 Author Share Posted October 19, 2011 Upon further investigation, I have narrowed this down to something in the OBGEv3 CORE package that is causing the issue. If I uninstall it and delete the INI for it, the problem goes away. Keirgarth Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Are you using HDR lighting in game? If so, change that and use the normal lighting to see if that changes things. First you need to find the following line in Oblivion.ini:bAllow30Shaders=1Make sure it reads =1, not =0 Then follow the directions found here. Definitely make a backup!!!
