Strange texture issue after modding

Hello all, so I am having an odd texture issue with stones/caves, When I am far away or even just a few steps back than in the following screenshot from certain textures they look fine. But when I get close up they "warp" and become a wierd blob of colors. Heres a screenshot to show you:

I used the wyrebash archiveinvalidationinvalidated tool as well as the OMOD BSA redirector..not sure why things are doing this. Also forced Clamp on my Nvidia Texture Filtering Negative LOD bias settings.. Additionally I have used TES4Edit to edit out dirty edits, and then bash patched according to what bash suggested..

Is this only in one of the IC districts? There's one of those pools where the Lotus flowers are below water level in the vanilla game and I believe the UOP may fix it with an altered mesh. Then, QTP3 adds a texture to that mesh and it apparently doesn't fit properly and appears stretched. Look for a patch for this maybe, or it could have something to do with BAIN? I installed the UOP and then QTP3 Redimized via OMOD and don't have this issue.

Upon further investigation, I have narrowed this down to something in the OBGEv3 CORE package that is causing the issue. If I uninstall it and delete the INI for it, the problem goes away. And no, this problem also happens with caves (the floors/stalagtites where they curve upward, basically right at the seams

Just curious, what Video Card do you run Oblivion on and what is your OS? Also, do you have Shader Model 3.0 forced, or have you tried forcing it to fix your issue? Edited by MShoap13

Are you using HDR lighting in game? If so, change that and use the normal lighting to see if that changes things. I know there have been a couple of people that have had issues when they have run OBGE along with HDR lighting.

It's a long shot but you could try forcing SM 3.0. First you need to find the following line in Oblivion.ini:

bAllow30Shaders=1

Make sure it reads =1, not =0

 

Then follow the directions found here. Definitely make a backup!!!
