I need some help with player speed and how to change secondary attributes in the "Requiem - Skills Menu" as installed by the Requiem - The Role Playing Overhaul mod located at:

http://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/19281-0-1455057848.png

(Click Image To Go To The Requiem Mod Page)

The mod is just too OP for my taste. My secondary attributes overview show outrageous percentages, for instance:

disease resistance 1130%
poison resistance 1130%
magic resistance 282%
movement speed 498%
movement noises 126%
health regeneration rate 0.0%/SEC
magicka regeneration rate 247.0%/SEC
stamina regeneration rate 389.0%/SEC
total mass 0.50
effective mass 126
equipment weight 0.26
effective equipment weight 0.26

Why this is a problem is I get hit with magic and take 0 damage.... also my other problem is I am moving way too fast... my walk speed is just as fast as Ralof's run speed and my run speed is superhero strength... I can run to Riverwood and back to Ralof after we leave the cave and he will not even have made it to the Guardian Stones....

If anyone knows how I can change these values to make it more vanilla like without un-installing the mod, please help!

Thanks!

Those arent default requiem numbers. You must have mods conflicting with or overwriting requiem.

Try asking this on the requiem page. I use Requiem myself.

Remember requiem is best on a MINIMAL load order.

Also when asking for help post your mod list.

But those for sure arent normal requiem features. You have conflicts.

Ironbender and I were in that thread ltoo about Requiem(version 1.9.4). Have a look at the thread, specifically my initial reply with the spoiler showing my mod load order then read what Ironbender also added regarding where Alternate Start can go in the load order when using the latest Requiem versions. Requiem will kick your butt and then some during the early levels - I've since added the mod called Jobs of Skyrim because I was getting killed as soon as I would leave town (or not very long after leaving town) and that mod let me do some odd jobs around the town to raise coin and get better gear before I ventured out there again, then once I did - I still got my butt kicked! It's awesome but not going to be for everyone - especially the insta-grata people.

Ogerboss answered this on the Requiem page. He said it looks like she buffed her atttributes using the console......why anyone would install requiem and then cheat with console commans is beyond me lol

Getting back to Requiem - I guess my only other advice to you would be to maybe Slow Down and make your changes incremtally and test each iteration before adding each new item/mod.

pssst - Ironbender, did you look at her profile, tread lightly my friend . ;-)

Okay, I uninstalled everything. The game, The DLC, Requiem, everything. I deleted everything pertaining to the game and cleaned it out of the registry.

Next I ran steam again and downloaded the game, the DLCs and the High Res Patches then installed ONLY the Requiem mod, nothing else....

The speeds are exactly the same. I have not edited anything or used the console at all.

Maybe my PC is so powerful that it causes Requiem to run at a super fast pace, I don't know.....

The only mod I am using now is Requiem. I have this lineup -

Skyrim.esm

Update.esm

Dawnguard.esm

HearthFires.esm

Dragonborn.esm

Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esm

HighResTexturePack01.esp

HighResTexturePack02.esp

HighResTexturePack03.esp

Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp

Requiem.esp

Requiem Legendary Bugsmasher Edition.esp

Requiem InvisEyeFixes.esp

Requiem for the Indifferent.esp

Now my PC Specs -

Windows 10 Pro

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 2.83Ghz 2.83Ghz 2.83Ghz 2.83Ghz

64 bit Operating System, x64 based processor

8.00GB ram

AMD Rageon R7 200 Series Graphics Adapter (2 GB GDDR Video Memory, 4K Ready Ultra Resolution Gaming, AMD Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture & Ultrawide Bandwidth PCI-E Gen 3)

DirectX 12.0

Now would someone (other than Ironbender800) care to explain what is happening to make my game run super fast and make my walk speed go as fast as Ralof's running speed?

Thanks

Dont take this as me being mean but it has to be something on your end or other people would be reporting this problem.

Requiem is still very actively maintained and updated with a dedicated community of users and you are the first ive read of this problem. So it has to be something on your end.

What is your mod manager of choice? If using MO are you running the reqtificator through MO as an executable?

Only thing i can come up with if you dont have any other mods and havent used the console and your reqtificator isnt set up right and isnt seeing the data folder or something to properly adjust the stats and all that. But if that was the case then i think youd get an error......

OK - this is a super dumb question but I have to ask. So Requiem is faster paced - from what I noticed. Eye poppin nasty it is! With regards to your walking speed being as fast as an npc run speed, are you sure you don't have run 'always on'? Easily checked if you hold the shift key down while moving.... There, I said it - please don't hurt me! :pinch:

I use NMM to install mods. I don't use any console mod to change anything. I use the caps lock to run but with this mod, I keep caps lock turned off because running is super fast.

I run the Reqtificator.jar from itself. If that is possible to run through NMM I don't know how to do it.

If I don't use Requiem the game speeds are fine for walking / running but as soon as I put Requiem into the line up, I become SUPERGIRL running faster then a speeding arrow!!!!
