Oblivion NifSkope prob

Ok, so I make a custom armor.

-I save it

-It saves correctly

-I load it in render window

-It doesn't crash, but it appears as a big yellow warning sign (you know what)

-I give it to my character

-When I wear it, nothing appears on my body.

Should be a pretty simple fix:

1) If you are adding elements from other armor, make sure that when you paste the block you are pasting to the root node of the base armor (the very top collapsed name at the far left when you open up the base .nif in nifskope).

2) You are probably getting the yellow exclamation mark in the render window because where you have the mesh saved is not where you have set the the .esp to look for it. Try pathing it to mirror where it is saved to in your data folder.

If the blocks are correctly applied to the nodes, the armor should show up in game fine when worn by your character.

Sorry if that is hard to understand, let me know if I can explain any better.

Hey, I just got another problem lol.

Try to solve this one!

-I successfully load .NIF files

-I can click on files in the block list, but when I click on the armor in the render it crashes. Help?

GO to the top bar and select render - settings -- go to the Rendering tab snd on the bottom left you'll see 3 boxes uncheck Shaders - go back and try clicking in the render window and see if it still crashes ( For some reason Nifskope has problems rendering some of the shaders with some systems causing it to crash like that ( Mine does the same but unchecking that box fixes it for me)
