Rheba
I installed the Kobu’s Character Advancement System mod and it was all good but then decided I didn't want my character levelling up in this way. So after deactivating the mod and deleting it from omm I find my character remains on level 1 and won't level up after sleeping. I hope I haven't wrecked my game from being an indecisive gamer :P Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated x
Keirgarth
If your character is only level 1, start over. Also, I am not positive, but I think that KCAS writes to the oblivion ini file. If it does, you will want to look in it for the changes that were made, or if you are not using any other mods that change the ini file you can just delete it, the game will create a new one. MShoap13
KCAS is old and not updated for OBSE v0020. As OBSE changes mods too need to be updated or else you end up with broken mods (like KCAS). You'll either have to revert back to an older version of OBSE (like v0017) which will break other mods that require newer versions, or use an alternate leveling system. I recommend AF Level Mod or Realistic Leveling. The former is slightly older but still works fine (and I personally prefer it for it's customization options) and the latter is the most up-to-date. Be sure to uninstall KCAS and then make a clean save (without a leveling mod) before installing either of these, if you decide to switch. SilverCobra126
a clean save i.e a new game? :( aw well, a bit gutted. Actually, a clean save simply means loading up your save file after uninstalling the mod (KCAS) and making a new save to register the removal of the mod. You don't have to start a new game ;) Edited October 20, 2011 by SilverCobra126
